Description

A Non-Resident Wild Turkey Stamp is required for non-residents 16 years of age and older when hunting turkey. (See age and lifetime license holder exemptions below). Included with the Stamp are three Wild Turkey Game Checks and a physical commemorative stamp (not received with in-store purchases). For hunters who choose not to use the MDWFP HuntFish app to submit their Game Checks, physical tags must be obtained by purchasing the Stamp in person at a license vendor. Physical tags must be notched at the point of harvest and attached to the turkey’s leg before moving. Hunters utilizing physical tags then have until 10:00 PM to report the harvest via the website or by calling 1-800-BE-SMART. The Stamp must be purchased in addition to an All Game, 7-Day All Game, or 3-Day All Game Hunting license. For more information on Tagging and Game Checks, visit our Wild Turkey Game Check page.
