Description

A Wild Turkey Stamp is required for any person 16 years of age and older when hunting turkey, unless exempt from purchasing a license (see exemption details below). Included with the Stamp are three Wild Turkey Game Checks and a physical commemorative stamp (not received with in-store purchases). For hunters who choose not to use the MDWFP HuntFish app to submit their Game Checks, physical tags must be obtained by purchasing the Stamp in person at a license vendor. Physical tags must be notched at the point of harvest and attached to the turkey’s leg before moving. Hunters utilizing physical tags then have until 10:00 PM to report the harvest via the website or by calling 1-800-BE-SMART. Wild Turkey Stamp Exemptions:

Age: Individuals under 16 years of age and residents 65 and older. See (#389) Exempt Wild Turkey Game Check - Age

Disabled: Residents who are blind, paraplegic, a multiple-amputee, or deemed 100% disabled by the Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration or Railroad Retirement Board. See (#394) Exempt Wild Turkey Game Check - Disabled
